As part of the 10th installment of the National Geology Congress (NGC), ESTW continues to focus on equipping high school teachers with supplementary knowledge on how to teach Earth Science in the new curriculum. For this year, the theme ๐๐ฑ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ฑ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ฆ๐๐ฌ: ๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ก ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ๐ ๐จ๐ง ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐ซ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ฒ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ covers the extensive geologic history of the Earth and introduce the basics of mineralogy as well as how minerals are formed, identified, and are used in our daily lives. The webinar will also include a workshop on how to navigate EarthViewer, an interactive module that allows students and teachers to explore Earthโs deep history and dynamically visualize how continents grow and shift.
